Day two of LISC's Midwest retreat was a success! One of today's speakers was Sonja Dean, LISC Kalamazoo deputy director. Sonja served as a #LISCAmeriCorps member in Kalamazoo, MI in 2002 and has now been employed with LISC for 21 years! Another great alumni story!

As devastating fires rage across Southern Cali, we're working to monitor the situation and stay in touch with our colleagues on the ground. The incredible LISC Los Angeles team, headed by ED Nicole Williams, is currently safe (some of them have evacuated, others have lost power). [1/3]

Louie Z. finished his term as a #LISCAmeriCorps EMC member with Inclusive Action for the City. “This experience has enhanced my skills in project management, community outreach, and financial services while deepening my understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented entrepreneurs.”
