Day 1 of the NW Scotland Mapping field trip: getting our bearings!

For our second year mapping trip to NW Scotland, we are using elevation data to 3D print field areas! This has been a great teaching tool to help explain how the geology interacts with the topography! Here is the shore of Loch Assent (in 3D print and reality!)
