From what I can tell, this PS: Political Science & Politics publication doesn't address the Lilley and Wheaton 2019 claim that the Feinberg et al method produces similar inferences if using Clinton rallies instead of Trump rallies and if using # of Taco Bells as the outcome (github.com/lilleymatthew/…).
