Trying to watch Kraven The Hunter. Who put water buffalo native to Africa in Russia for this movie? Did they mean to use European bison and nobody doublechecked what they look like? Is it explained later in the film? I’m a writer and a biologist not sure I can get past this.

Woke to the first bright sunlight in days. Suddenly I’m wide awake & eager to be up & at my desk instead of wanting to burrow under the covers & doze. I didn’t realize how much the gloomy days were impacting me.

And it’s back to gray and cloudy on the weather. One day of sunshine was not enough to lift the gloom.

Dealing with babies & toddlers in this new Merry Gentry novel has proven what a stumbling block they are when trying to solve a mystery. Yes, it’s a fantasy novel but I try to keep my real world details as accurate as possible, so combining sleuthing with babies is hard.
