IT'S A FIGHT TO THE FINISH. LNHS Cross Country freshman Lucy Wright just barely misses out on first and takes silver in the Class 5 State Championships with a time of 18:08.4. Liberty (Wentzville) sophomore Bella Navaro-Sanchez crossed at 18:08.3.

Within the past month, Lucy Wright has - finished second in the KC Suburban Gold Conference Championships - won the Class 5 District 4 Championships - earned silver in the Class 5 State Championships Not a bad freshman season.

‼️LUCY WRIGHT‼️ Broke her own 5k school record AND is the State Runner-Up, which is the highest finish for a Liberty North girl!
