Had an amazing week and learned a lot at the Eddy Covariance Intensive Course at University of Helsinki! ❄️ I’m very grateful for this experience and am looking forward to apply my knowledge on flux data processing and gap filling :)

First full group gathering after Bayu joined us. We’re fully ready for the science advisory meeting Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry after a nice group dinner 😄😄

EcoMet Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry will be at #EGU24! Laura Nadolski will have first EGU presence on multiscale CO2 flux (meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU24/EGU24-11…). Sinikka Paulus will show advances on non rainfall water (meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU24/EGU24-11…). I’ll co-convene BG1.8, present #CBLUES at TM20, and talk about outreach at TM1.

This month the #MANIP experiment Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry Markus Reichstein Sung Ching (Nick) Lee Mirco Migliavacca Fundación CEAM Ramon Lopez Oscar Pérez-Priego SpecLab CSIC celebrates its 10th birthday. We were here for maintenance at the peak of the growing season. Here some impressions:

Majadas´ Workshop 2024 is underway at Ciencias Humanas y Sociales (CCHS - CSIC) . co-organized by SpecLab CSIC and Tech4Agro. Super interesting presentations and discussion about collaborative activities at Majadas de Tiétar research station. Eco-Met group Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry is involved in 2 projects in this round with collaborators such as Markus Reichstein Flora Incognita Gregory Duveiller SpecLab CSIC. Apply before the deadline if you’re interested, and feel free to ask me questions!

SpecLab CSIC presents "sentinel dehesa", an informative virtual tour through our main study area, the ICOS_Spain Majadas de Tiétar station. Get to know the dehesa and some of its research equipment. It's just a click away! have fun!👀 Fundación CEAM CSIC Divulga BGC Field Experiments

Wenn der Axolotl nicht stirbt … …

More news from #Majadas de Tietar BGC Field Experiments Fundación CEAM Ramon Lopez today we installed the Picarro G2311-f Analyzer at the sub-canopy tower next to the ICOS RI ICOS_Spain ES-LMa tower to measure #CH4Fluxes. Big thanks to Mathias Göckede Q-Arctic for borrowing it to us.

Excited to share our new preprint in Biogeosciences! We looked into how different nutrient balances affect the carbon dynamics in a savanna ecosystem. Sung Ching (Nick) Lee Jake Nelson Richard Nair Yunpeng Luo victor rolo Markus Reichstein Check it out!:

Honored to receive FLUXNET_Coop 2024 Paper of the Year award! Greatly appreciate the recognition of our flux work in BC Canada. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported me (Andy, Paul, and many more). Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry #AGU2024 #AGU24 (pc: Sara Knox)

🇵🇹 Greetings from Portugal!PhD student Laura Nadolski is at Instituto Superior de Agronomia of ULisboa for her research stay. She's studying so-called dehesas/montados. They are ecosystems specific to Portugal and Spain and populated mainly by cork oaks and holm oaks. #IMPRSabroad
