Two callouts at 6.08pm, when just going to sea for a training session and again at 8.59pm - to incidents in the South Beach and harbour areas. Stood by afloat for the first call for over two hours until stood down and held at mooring in readiness to launch for the second.

Crew called at 9.05pm yesterday to be at 'immediate readiness' to assist HM Coastguard with an incident in the South Beach area. Crew waited on the lifeboat at the mooring but were stood down before launching when the situation was resolved.

Callout at 10.09pm yesterday to assist Police & Coastguard with an incident in the South Beach area of Lowestoft. Lifeboat launched and searched until resolved - returned to mooring at 11.40pm.

Called at 3.05pm to a 38ft cabin cruiser near the North Newcombe buoy with an engine fire. The two people on board had extinguished the fire and the craft was able to proceed using their other engine. The vessel was escorted by the lifeboat as it limped into Lowestoft harbour

Callout at 4.54pm yesterday following an urgent situation (pan pan) marine radio broadcast for a missing 12 m Dutch yacht . Lifeboat crew were requested to launch when yacht was spotted off Lowestoft but the vessel didn't need help and lifeboat returned to mooring at 5.15pm

Lowestoft RNLI Lifeboat was called at 2.46 pm to a stand-up paddleboarder hanging onto one of the pilings under Claremont Pier. With a very strong tide running he was pulled from the water by the lifeboat crew and taken into the care of the waiting Coastguard Rescue Teams

Callout at 6..56pm after coastguard had a report of a person in difficulties in sea off Pakefield . Lifeboat launched to search area together with Coastguard teams, ambulance crew and Police. Person was found shortly after safe and well ashore and all were stood down.

Callout at 10.08pm last night to a lone sailor on a 32ft yacht stranded with engine failure two miles east of Lowestoft. It was agreed that a tow was necessary and with a line connected the vessel was towed to the yacht marina arriving at midnight and met by coastguard teams

Callout at 11.13am to medically evacuate a casualty from a Sail Training Vessel eight miles east of Lowestoft. The casualty had severe abdominal pain and was transferred to the lifeboat with a crewman and given casualty care while being speedily taken ashore and then to A&E

Callout at 1.21am to a 38ft Dutch yacht with a crew of five that had sailed from Ijmuiden but suffered engine failure 5 miles SE of pier heads off Kessingland. With insufficient wind to sail the decision was to tow the vessel to Lowestoft - arriving at 3.30am.

Callout at 12.17pm yesterday to conduct shoreline search from Lowestoft to Pakefield for a missing male possibly in the water. Lifeboat was launched and the area searched. Lifeboat crew were stood down when the man was found safe ashore. They returned to their mooring at 1.30pm

Called at 9.22am to female in trouble in the sea off Gunton Cliff. Lifeboat was quickly launched and found the woman floating about ten metres offshore. As she was drifting towards the groyne a lifeboat crew member in a dry suit went into the sea and helped her onto the lifeboat

Callout at 30 mins past midnight to a male in difficulty in the sea off South Beach, Lowestoft. He was recovered from the sea by the volunteer lifeboat crew and brought back to the lifeboat station - where he was handed over, cold and wet, to the waiting ambulance crew.
