Western nations need to increase testing for the #coronavirus - A warning from Anthony Costello Anthony Costello who says the UK, the US & other nations need to do mass testing for #COVID 19 right now. I ask him how this can work & why it wasn't already being done.

The UK strategy that led to potentially 30-40,000 preventable deaths. No modelling of early testing, suspension of community tests + contact tracing on March 12, two weeks delay in implementation of SD and lockdown.

The Rishi Sunak £1.57bn for the arts is welcome. I’m sure major venues and companies will be protected. But what about those venues at the base of the Arts pyramid - the small or community based venues housing youth orchestras, dance schools, choirs, etc? Will any be left for us?

The ‘pyramid base’ is the foundation of arts in the U.K. - where our musicians, dancers, actors and crew learn their trade. We MUST protect these venues too.
