Harmony day 2024 was a blast Lansvale PS We celebrated our diverse community by asking families to display their cultural heritage by placing their child’s photo on a world map. Later, we got soaked in vibrant colours during the colour run obstacle course.

Day 2 of the #schoolsplus Singapore study tour began with visiting the Australian High Commission and joining the NAIDOC week flag raising ceremony. Nxt stop was a tour of the Ministry of Education followed by the National Institute of Education. Lansvale PS

Day3Honoured to present at the Centre for Research in Child Development at Singapore’s NIE! Our Australian Schools Plus fellows engaged with research on self regulation and peer influence which resonated with my presentation on fostering these skills through our EYLF

Day4We visited Westwood Secondary School for a guided tour led by their school leaders. Nxt, we visited the Academy of Singapore Teachers to meet with their award recipients and gain insight into professional development in Singapore's teaching profession.

Day5-Visited Pathlight, Singapore’s first autism focused school today. An inspiring place supporting inclusion and celebrating abilities. Singapore was impressive but it was the work of the 11 Australian Schools Plus teaching fellows/ heroes that truly blew me away.
