Annual Camp Begins! Cadets arrived safely and checked in with their training groups. They then made a quick dash to their accommodation to claim the best beds (those closest to power sockets!) and are now on a familiarisation tour of the camp.

It is with great sadness that we must announce the death of our previous Regimental Mascot, Corporal Derby XXXII, at the age of 8. Prior to his retirement in July this year, he became the very first Regimental Mascot in his lineage to be promoted to Corporal.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.

First duty of my tenure was to visit D Company on their Training Weekend. Lots of cadets doing lots of good stuff, enthusiastic CFAVs delivering and smiles all round. A special congratulations to SSI Rollisson who received her Cadet Force Medal after a dedicated 12 years service!
