A year since being elected, it was great to speak with Vaughan Roderick about the importance of cross-party working to deliver for the people of Caerfyrddin - and the pleasure of doing this job alongside Llinos Medi AS/MP.

Plaid Cymru MPs have signed the reasoned amendment tabled by Rachael Maskell MP on behalf of disabled people who have been denied a voice in this process. Sadly, only one Welsh Labour MP has signed. We urge the other 26 to join us in opposing the Welfare Bill tonight.

The welfare bill is not fit for purpose. It was fundamentally flawed, showing a cruel disregard for the impact on disabled people. Now, after countless U-turns, it has become meaningless. All Labour MPs from Wales should join Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 in voting down this bill this evening.

Plaid Cymru MPs listened to disabled people and voted against the welfare bill tonight. This bill was cruel from the start and remains unfit for purpose. These measures will hit Welsh communities hardest - yet the vast majority of Welsh Labour MPs nodded them through. Shame.

Votes in Parliament are a lasting record. I am proud that every Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 MP opposed Labour’s punitive welfare plans in the Commons this evening. Wales will be hit hardest by these plans, and every Labour MP who voted in favour will have to answer for that decision.
