CFRE’s new, grant funded $1+ million lab equipment was recently installed, greatly expanding the capabilities of our water analysis lab. It will provide experiences to LSSU students and support community research at no cost to LSSU. LSSU

Senior education students Beth Dyer, Kaitlyn Edington, and Hope Swenor planned and led the weekend story and craft time at CFRE. Kids and their parents couldn’t say enough great things about the event!

Learn about the wonders of bird migration through a book reading & fun bird puppet craft at CFRE at 10:30am & 12:30pm on March 2nd! This event is best suited for ages 4-9, but anyone is welcome to attend. We can't wait to see you this weekend!

Students from Bay City Academy visited CFRE to learn about all things fish and water! The students participated in an Atlantic Salmon dissection, studied zooplankton under the microscope, and learned about fish culture during a hatchery tour.
