The reniform and Southern root-knot nematodes are the two most common nematodes found in Louisiana agricultural fields. These nematodes can cause big yield losses, and one scientist with the LSU AgCenter is working on solutions to this problem.

A Sweet Potato Breeding Crossing Nursery was recently established at the LSU AgCenter Hill Farm Teaching Facility on LSU's main campus in Baton Rouge! The AgCenter has developed sweet potato varieties grown in Louisiana, across the United States, and worldwide.
