Congrats to the LT girls water polo who just advanced to the state finals at 6:30. They beat York 14-11 in the semifinals to advance to the state championship game.

Congrats to the LT boys tennis team who took second place at the sectional meet and qualified five players for next week’s state finals. 2nd place in sectionals. State qualifiers are Fred Chen, Mateja Nokic, Jackson Albee and Rohan Nagale in doubles and Shay Sweigard in singles.

The LT boys volleyball season comes to an end in the sectional semifinal. They play great and take the #1 seed to three game but lose to Oak Park River Forest with the score 26-24 in game three. Congrats on a great season gentlemen!

Lyons Township High School is excited to welcome Joe Pontrelli as the new Head Girls Cross Country Coach. Joe has worked as an assistant track and field coach at Lyons Township High School since 2016 and as an assistant cross country coach since 2019.

Lyons Township is excited to welcome Brendan Weibel as the new Head Girls Swim and Dive Coach. Brendan has led the Lane Tech swim team for the last two years where they broke 8 of 11 school records. He started his swim coaching career back in 2014 after he graduated from LT.
