Our Youth Forum met last week to discuss putting together a prom for those young people who were not able to attend their own because of their health conditions. They also met with Hannah Poklad from Leeds Beckett university who discussed the #chooseyouthwork campaign.

Last week our youth workers took a group of young people on residential to York for 2 days. We managed to fit in all the sites we conquered York dungeon, enjoyed a boat trip, looked around York Minster and Clifford’s Towers. While enjoying a bit of shopping! Leeds Children's Hospital

On the 18th November our Silver DOFE group did a presentation on their practice and real expedition back in the summer. They all showcased what they achieved and reflected on memories made. We are so proud of the group for successfully passing their expedition. Well done!

The wonderful charity @JessiesFund are aiming to raise £20,000, which would fund 400 music therapy sessions for children and young people with complex needs throughout the UK. They do amazing work with children and young people. (biggive.org)

Last night we had a wonderful evening celebrating our 2024 Silver DoFE group who successfully completed their awards. Over the past year they have volunteered in their communities, learnt a new skill, been active and completed an expedition. We are so proud of you all well done🎉
