We’re excited to share that the First Street bridge over Oak Creek is now open, three weeks early! Thank you for your patience during this project. Repairs included updates to the bridge abutment, approach slabs, girders, guardrail, and deck surface treatments.

UPDATE (10 a.m. July 24, 2025): The traffic signals at the intersection of 16th Street and Old Cheney Road have been repaired and are now fully operational following damage from a recent crash. The temporary three-way stop configuration has been removed.
