Our Jim G. Martin ES Learning Tree Engineers were given a challenge of reclaiming a wild garden. Our kiddos worked together to remove weeds from our soon to be pollinator oasis! We're ALSO working on creating our very own compost! Plus a water station of course! #HandsOnLearning

ACE Learning Tree Camp Martin went on an incredible field trip to the Witte Museum ~ Nature, Science & Culture Our Adams Hill Elem Glenoaks Elementary Jim G. Martin ES students learned by doing, half having never been to a museum before, explored "Surviving Space" "Sharks" the "Tree house" &everything in between!

Day 1 of our Egg Drop Challenge.🥚As part of our STEAM theme this summer, our students are learning about engineering. Our Learning Tree students worked as teams to design and create their own protective crafts in which we will be testing tomorrow, Stay tuned for the results📋

Our Jim G. Martin ES Learning Tree #UnderTheSea curriculum continues with our "Ocean Zones" Unit. The Littles learned about the sunlight zone and a few creatures that live there, and made octopus hats while the older kiddos learned about all the zones and created infographics

Our Jim G. Martin ES Learning Tree garden projects continue. Our Pollinator Haven didn't quite survive the brutal summer, but we persist. Our new endeavor, growing humongous cabbages! Our baby cabbage plants need to grow before planting in ground. So excited! #LearningbyDoing
