5 years ago today, permanent #LWCF funding was enshrined into law by the Great American Outdoors Act - benefiting land & water in all 50 states - but now the Administration is trying to rollback this landmark law. We must #SaveLWCF funding to protect our public lands!

The Great American Outdoors Act was a bipartisan win for #LWCF & our public lands but it is now at risk. Tell Congress to continue to ensure $900M for #LWCF & oppose any cut or delay to #LWCF projects that protect outdoor access, wildlife habitat, drinking water, & so much more!

Georgia's Cumberland Island was included as a congressionally designated National Seashore in 1972. Over $42.5M from #LWCF has helped to create this spectacular 34k acre outdoor recreation destination for camping, boating, fishing and biking.

Grey Bear Fishing Access Site, located on the Yellowstone River in MT, contains a boat launch, campground & is a popular spot for anglers. $$ from #LWCF through the State and Local Assistance Program helped build the boat access infrastructure that forms the basis of the site.

Thanks to a $1M grant from #LWCF in 2021 through the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program, Metroparks Toledo has plans for a new urban campground on the riverfront of East Toledo, OH. The campground will have space for recreational vehicles, eco huts and tent camping.
