Today, La Colmena joined the LUCHA coalition to announce a historic $30M investment in NY’s Latino communities. A major victory for equity, inclusion, and collective power. TY AM Amanda Septimo & AM Assembly Member Karines Reyes, R.N. for your leadership! ¡La LUCHA sigue! ✊🏽

3/3 We also hosted a vibrant Community Mural Paint Day, where the community came together. It was wonderful to see the many children that came -- we hope that years from now they can look back and say they were part of this.

2/3 In anticipation we hit the streets of Port Richmond! We were out putting up flyers for our upcoming Mural Unveiling Celebration 🎨.

1/3 We are extremely proud of partnering with JM Custom Art Studio, Community Health Center of Richmond & NYCSmallBiz to bring the “Welcome to Port Richmond” mural to life!

La Colmena brought the community together for the PATH event, filled with music, games and unity! Through Partners Against the Hate (PATH), in partnership w/ Claudio Iván Remeseira, we continue raising awareness & standing strong against hate crimes in NY.
