May is National Skin Cancer and Melanoma Awareness Month. Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer and is typically caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Eliminating ongoing sun exposure and wearing sunscreen is very important for reducing your risk for skin cancer.
