Today marks the beginning of Public Schools Week! Did you know LCS serves over 2,300 students every day? This is a week honoring all of the incredible work by educators & local communities to support students in the classroom - including our 2,300+ here in LC 💙

Today several of our administrators joined with advocates from across the state to meet with legislators in celebration of Public Schools Week. A huge thank you to our very own Rep Ryan Bivens for attending the PSW press conference in the Capitol Rotunda with our LC team 💙🙌

Hawk Family, while road conditions have improved throughout the day today, there are still roads impassable due to flooding throughout the county. In light of this, LaRue County Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Hawk family, There is an issue affecting Internet service in school districts throughout the state. The Internet is currently down at LCS interrupting services including email and phone usage. Our technology team is working with their state-level partners for a solution.
