The final chapter of a long series of publications is out: rdcu.be/cVbzK and with it, the now complete study of the sequence-dependence of Cy3, Cy5 and fluorescein in 3', 5', ssDNA, dsDNA, you name it. Incidentally, the first paper of our research group!

On tour: This week, Tadija gave a talk on his work on the sequence-dependent fluorescence of Cy dyes at the #DoSChem International Student Symposium at Universität Wien, before heading off to Graz to the Austrian CARLA Camp hosted by #PhotonicsAustria with his poster!
