The Mental Health Bill is making it’s very slow passage through Parliament. It’s an incredibly important piece of legislation that isn’t getting any media attention. The act is nearly 50 years old. We have been campaigning for its reform for the past decade.

Our community tells us that over 60% fear most or everyone would think less of them if they disclosed their diagnosis. Bipolar stigma needs to stop.

Bipolar UK found that 65% of respondents believe people are afraid of those with bipolar. That fear is rooted in misunderstanding.
