The UCD Agri Mental Health Group is a research grouping of academics and researchers from the UCD Schools of Agriculture and Food Science and Psychology who focus on research addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by individuals in the agricultural sector.

We were delighted to receive funding from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine for our project entitled Farming Minds. This project will develop and test the effectiveness of a psychological intervention for farmers to target prevention and early intervention.

Our first Stakeholder Steering Group meeting was a resounding success. Excellent platform to introduce our teams and articulate our goals. Everyone shared their background and motivations for involvement. #NothingAboutUsWithoutUs. Enthusiastic about the work that lies ahead!
