6:25 RADAR UPDATE: Storms continue to slowly progress south. Flooding rainfall is taking over as the main threat. A isolated severe storms is still possible with wind and hail the primary threats. The line is moving SSE at 10 mph.

Tracking tropical downpours and occasional lightning develop across the area. These slow moving storms will produce some dangerous lightning and blinding rains as they drift north at 15 mph. NO severe weather is anticipated but watch out for some localized flooding. #okwx

Heavy tropical rains continue in spots across the metro, and some localized flooding is possible. Some areas have already received up to 2", & heavy rains are still falling. Very little lightning or gusty winds are associated with this activity, slowly moving to the NNE. #okwx

Heavy rains continue to move slowly north and east of the metro, leaving behind 2-3" in some locations. Sunshine is about to return across portions of the metro with 70s replaced by 80s out west. Rain chances look lower as we head through the evening in the metro. #okwx

Radar Update 6:23 PM - SHowers in southern Oklahoma are moving north and will continue to do so over the next several hours. Most are fairly small with light rain, but some are heavier downpours. Only lightning strike in the state is down by Lake Texoma. #okwx

Radar Update 4:09 PM - Small, but strong, thunderstorms popping up in northern Woods county up into Kansas. Strongest storm just north of Alva. Nearly stationary right now, but will move south. Lots of lightning and heavy rain in a small area! #okwx

5:38 pm Update: Nothing in the metro now besides a couple of outflow boundaries. Storms are now NW of the metro near Hennessey to Kingfisher to Watonga with lots of lightning, heavy rains, & gusty winds. Slowly moving to the south at 10 mph.
