Had children at 30 and 31, thought my running career might be over. I didn't truly believe in myself until I was 34. I didn't reach my athletic peak until I was 36. Still going🏃‍♀️ I’ve been down, defeated but never given up. Be patient. Stay the course. Keep moving forward.

St. Windling has their official meet in the books! They took the win in both races against the Goose of Lake Zurich and Immanuel Lutheran, all races were coed. Huge shout to Abigail Jordan for breaking the course record by 55 seconds running 12:33 for 2 miles today!

Big PR in the 8 with a 2:05. I want to give a shoutout to Patrick McClanahan,Since getting hit by a car after a stellar freshman season he’s had so many injuries and basically nearly missed 2 seasons. This kid just qualified for state in the 800 nearly winning the race. Way to go

State Meet day is always a range of emotions, but as I told our kids beforehand, seasons are about preparing to do great things, but at the end of the day, those medals go in a box and the love we’ve built becomes the real take away. Great job Rockets!
