Year 2 Ladysmith Federation visited St Marks Church today to learn about the meaning of Christmas and the significance of the symbols in the Christian faith.

A different kind of morning at LJS today. We read 'The Day The Crayons Quit' & spoke about differences, unique talents & our school family like a box of crayons. Our Y5/6 children then buddied up with a Y3/4 & walked the Golden Mile together to learn about another. #community

The children Ladysmith Federation Junior were in for a real treat today with this live performance. As the newest school to join the Trust, which is a mix of community and Church schools, it is great to see them following their own unique path.

A group of very lucky children visited St. James' Park today ahead of Exeter City FC match against Nottingham Forest in the F.A Cup on Feb 11th. They had a stadium tour and were interviewed by Mike Bushell for BBC. We can't wait to see them represent the school and our community!

5BL and 5LS battled it out in a Sphero coding competition this week. They had 2 challenges: The coding maze and the speed challenge on our D.I.Y masking tape maze. Well done to Mrs. Walsh for managing the teams totaling 60 children!

Gorgeous morning at Grenville House in Brixham yesterday. Our children mastered high ropes and braved abseiling down Berry Head! They will be spending today on the sea paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing. Who will get our staff in the sea first?

The sun has gone down on the first day of our Y6 (Week 2) residential. A gorgeous day at Berry Head and on the high ropes. Onto caving and canoeing tomorrow!
