Lake George Elementary School had a wonderful morning with Peter Griswold and Patrick Cullen of Aussie Air! They brought their balloon "Captain Kangaroo" so every child could experience the awe and wonder of the Adirondack Balloon Festival without going far!

The roar of engines filled the sky as LGES students witnessed an amazing formation flyover of multiple WW2 era T-6 Texan aircrafts, organized by the Prescott Foundation in conjunction with local warbird operator Mark Murphy. Thank you to all our Veterans!

The Lakers traveled to Chittenango, NY, for their season kickoff event, competing against 40 teams from across the state. Team 64040A advanced to the quarterfinals, while Team 64040B delivered an impressive upset over the top-seeded alliance, emerging as the tournament champions!

Lake George students shine in financial literacy! Our students excelled in the annual Budget Challenge, a program with TCT Credit Union. "We're incredibly proud of their achievements," says Brenda Hoffman, teacher. Owen Rajeski took 1st place with a perfect score!

The Lake George School District recently hosted its first-ever VEX Robotics Tournament, a resounding success that brought together over 20 teams from local area school districts for a day of exciting competition and collaboration.

The energy was electric at the South High Marathon Dance opening ceremony, thanks in large part to the phenomenal drumline from Lake George Jr.-Sr. High School! 🤩 Their performance set the perfect tone for an event that has now raised over $10 million since 1978!

Career inspiration was in the air at LGES! We're so grateful to all the incredible professionals who shared their career journeys with our students. From lawyers to hockey coaches, artists to state troopers, our students got a real glimpse into diverse career paths.

LGES had a fantastic visit from author Jerry Pallotta! During his visit, Mr. Pallotta shared his inspiring journey from reading to his children to writing about his ocean adventures and even his trip to Antarctica!

A huge shoutout to the North Country Quiz Bowl team! Anthony Cocozza, Taylor Syvertsen, seniors, and Jason Ludlow, junior, coached by Jen Johnston and Michelle Elder, took 2nd place locally and represented LGHS at Nationals in New Orleans.

Lake George Elementary celebrated Flag Day with a moving ceremony! Students recited flag etiquette, veterans raised the flag, and all pledged allegiance.

Seniors celebrated their last day of school with a BBQ! They signed yearbooks, read old letters to themselves, and played games. What a perfect way to end their high school journey!
