Manas Ranjan Prusty Lalit Dev Tiwari mastered chloroplast isolation and sequencing so we could include possible cytonuclear epistatic interactions. He also took a shot and transformed Arabidopsis with two alleles (Ashkelon vs Hermon) destined for the chloroplast, and…it worked!
