Congratulations to Blackpool and Fylde Police Cadet Arboretum Committee for being awarded the High Sheriff's Young Citizen of the Year Group Award. The award was for their dedication to the research of the Police Memorial at the Fylde Arboretum in Bispham. High Sheriff of Lancashire

Lancaster & Morecambe Cadets started this week's session with a warm up and then the 15m bleep test, to a level of at least 5.4. We continued with a fun activity, building a piece of furniture with balloons and sellotape. Congratulations to the winning Team.

Thank you to Mat and Tom from @NorWestMedical for attending South Ribble Cadets last week and giving them a 2 hour First Aid Awareness session.

Last weekend saw the start of our Practical training towards the Duke of Edinburgh award for cadets from Preston, South Ribble, West Lancs, Blackburn, Hundburn, Burnley and Pendle Units Saturday meant a theory session at Hutton HQ, and Sunday meant a trek around Tockholes.

NATIONAL CRIMEBEAT AWARDS LONDON 2025. Blackpool and Fylde Police cadets were placed 2nd for their ICE POP project and won another award for BEST PRESENTATION!! Amazing work by the four cadets who went along, on behalf of the whole cadet unit. The BEST day!. Well done!!! 🏆

Last week our current High Sheriff Cadets, Harry, Arianna and River were invited by the outgoing High Sheriff Helen Bingley OBE JP DL to receive an “Unsung Heroes Award” This award was presented for taking such good care of Helen during her term in office. Thank you.

Great start to the Easter holidays for Blackpool & Fylde Police cadets - a beach clean in the sunshine, and then a reward for their hard work with a trip round the @sealifeblackpool where they were able to see and learn about some of the marine life they've helped to protect.

South Ribble Cadets had a trip to NPAS Barton over the Easter holidays. Many thanks to the team at NPAS for facilitating another visit. NPAS North West Region

Thank you to Scott and Wayne from the Stolen Vehicle Identification Unit (SVIU) who recently came to bisit cadets at both Preston Unit. Scott and Wayne talked about their roles within the Constabulary and how they identify stolen and other vehicles involved in crime. @lancspolice

Thank you to Preston & SR Cadets who helped with Chorley 10k on Sunday. Cadets helped with marshalling, giving out water, medals and Chorley cakes to the competitors. A big well done to Coordinator Louise too, who completed the run in 58 mins! @chorleycouncil LancsSpecials

Chorley & South Ribble, Preston and West Lancs Cadets volunteered for the Mayor of South Ribble's Civic Sunday. Many thanks to Mayo, Councillor Paul Wharton-Hardman BEM for his kind invitation.

Last Saturday Cadets from Chorley & South Ribble, West Lancs, Preston, Hyndburn and Burnley all helped out at Leyland Festival, taking part in the parade and having a stall on Worden park engaging with members of the public. leyland festival

Lancaster & Morecambe Cadets were invited to join in with celebrating service personnel, reservists, service families and veterans for Morecambe's Armed Forces Day on Saturday, taking part in the parade. Excellent day all round and the Cadets were fantastic!

Armed Forces Week ended with a service at the Cenotaph and then a march along the Promenade for Blackpool and Fylde Police Cadets, who joined by other cadet units and veterans to mark the occasion. Proud moment.

Cadets came together for an Input and Workshop on Counter Terrorism Policing by Tracy from the Met. Tracy explained the consequences, raised awareness of the signs and how to report terrorist concerns. The Cadets produced their own youth campaign and delivered back to Tracy.
