Another successful year for K-2 Mother Son Bowling!

We sure have loved all of the mystery readers that have visited our classrooms during March is Reading Month.

We had a lot of fun today learning how to seek first to understand, then to be understood (Habit 5). We worked with our buddies and had some high school students come over and do some skits to help us better understand. We also celebrated our March students of the month!!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Mom2Mom sale and Landmark Academy Open House on March 16. It was our chance to give back to our very supportive local community! We hope to see everyone again at our next Mom2Mom Sale in August!

The winner of the March is Reading Month reading competition was announced and Mrs. Bryce's class was the winner! They were able to silly string Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. Shannon!

The calendar for this year has been revised to make up for our Snow Days. Please take special note to Easter Break. Friday, April 19 will now be a 1/2 day. MS/HS students will be released at 11:45 AM. Elementary students will be released at noon.

Our safety patrol had a fun day at the Detroit Tiger game yesterday to celebrate their hard work this school year!

Kindergarten learned about measurement and the letter V and made hypotheses about what would happen when we mixed vinegar and baking soda, and Mentos and Diet Coke. Which one was taller? Can baking soda/vinegar inflate a balloon?

Kindergarten put on gloves and cleaned our campus for Earth day!

Today we learned how to synergize. We had a final activity at our assembly where the band showed us what instruments sounded like on their own and the beautiful melodies when they synergized together.

Our 5th graders are having fun getting ready for 6th grade next year.
