Today Los Angeles lost an icon and KTLA lost a family member. I’ll be forever grateful for the privilege of working in a newsroom with Sam. What a terrible loss. Sam Rubin (1960-2024)

All of us at Langer's Deli are profoundly saddened by the passing of KTLA 5 Morning News entertainment reporter Sam Rubin. For decades, Sam was a staunch supporter, customer and friend of the deli. His death is a blow to the entire Southern California community.
