In today's seminar, Jonas Heirman and Stefan Dercon discussed humanitarian aid in climate disaster contexts. The session started with a poll asking the audience which aspects of humanitarian assistance design they believe to be significantly relevant for increasing effectiveness.

Today's seminar started with the following kick-off questions to the audience. While most of the public correctly guessed that 84% of Zambia's children are enrolled in primary school, only 19% have the correct perception that enrollment rates are even among boys and girls today.
