We were delighted to run our first Photography field trip to Edinburgh last week. Pupils had a weird and wonderful experience on their visit to Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, exploring the curiosities of camera magic, mirrors, optics and visual trickery.

Pupils had a weird and wonderful experience on their visit to Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, exploring the curiosities of camera magic, mirrors, optics and visual trickery. Many laughs were had by pupils and staff on what was a successful day all round.

After taking in the dizzying & extraordinary sights at Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, our field trip continued with a 'Time Traveller' photoshoot around the Old Town & a visit to the National Museum of Scotland. Finished off with a good luck pat on Greyfriars Bobby's nose!

A huge congratulations to Noah (S4), Jessica (S3) & Amy (S3) who have been awarded 1st, 2nd & 3rd place respectively for their excellent photography taken in Edinburgh as part of our Time Traveller competition. Well done to the winners & to everyone who submitted a photograph. 📸

Congratulations to Mia and Rachael in S2 who were chosen as finalists in this year’s City of Glasgow Jewellery Competition. Only 30 finalists selected from a massive 850.
