In case you missed it: Here's an article about our new ruthenium catalyst RuAqua! The Larrosa Group manchester.ac.uk/discover/news/…

What an honour to receive the 2024 Henri Kagan PhD prize from the Organic Chemistry Division from the SCF ! Thank you for the trust and congratulation to all the awardees! 🏆

Most importantly, our poster prize winners were Gillian McCarthur The Larrosa Group, Sophia Gloria Pulis Group and Dennis Hartman UoBChemistry. Well done all for great poster presentations!

Had a wonderful time in Cardiff on Friday at the SCI – Where Science Meets Business💡 Postgraduate Symposium! Great to see the amazing work done by so many extremely talented PhD students! I was also honoured to receive a first-place prize for my presentation talking about the The Larrosa Group new catalyst!

Was thrilled to be chosen as a finalist at yesterday’s #3MT competition! I had a great time bringing some chemistry to the meeting and hearing about all sorts of exciting research at UoM including everything from beetles to black holes! Thank you Researcher Development @ University of Manchester for organising!

Delighted to be awarded with a doctoral degree from The University of Manchester. This degree is dedicated to the planet for providing valuable resources & to the mentors for showing the best possible use of resources.#UOM200 #ClassOf2024 University of Manchester Alumni The Larrosa Group UoM Chemistry IIS (deemed to be University) Formerly ICG, Jaipur

Super excited to have had the opportunity to present as a guest speaker on Synthesis Workshop (Synthesis Workshop)! If you haven't already be sure to check it out and learn about our brand-new ruthenium catalyst The Larrosa Group youtube.com/watch?v=g2xHSL…

Just out in John Callahan, we report mechanistic studies on the photoexcitation of biscyclometalated-Ru species and their role in photocatalyzed C-H alkylations with epoxides. Congratulations to Kurt and co-workers, Team Natrajan and Golovanov group!! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Interested in carrying out postdoctoral research at the interface of artificial intelligence, organic chemistry and catalysis? Join us in this collaborative project with the BuresGroup !! Please follow the link below for further information: jobs.manchester.ac.uk/Job/JobDetail?…

Really happy to see our catalyst RuAqua featured in this month's OPR&D highlights. If you haven't already, be sure to check it out! There's a great range of exciting work here! ACS Publications The Larrosa Group pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Fantastic to finally share our work on regiodivergent C-H silylmethylation out in Nature Catalysis today, massive congratulations to Jamie Docherty The Larrosa Group for all the hard work [nature.com/articles/s4192…]
