Representatives from all five Regions of the global Lasallian family are gathering today for the start of the Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies. During the two-week program, they will focus on the life, educational and spiritual mission of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.

It's hard to believe that we're already halfway through this summer's Buttimer Institute! Participants have immersed themselves in the foundations, pedagogy and spirituality of the Lasallian charism and will continue to do so during this final week of the program.

Participants are headed to El Paso today for a weeklong immersion with the Lasallian Social Justice Institute. The week will allow participants to learn about the complexities of migration at the U.S.-Mexico border through the lens of our shared Lasallian mission and values. 🧡
