I wonder how well equipped we are in dealing with the current change in presentation of our CYP in MH services. What we worked with 10years ago felt far less challenging to now. The new challenge is extremely high risk behaviours embedded in psychosocial & emotional difficulties.

It's not good enough for a minister to say corridor care is only "a specific issue in some areas". More than 1 in 3 nursing staff report delivering care in inappropriate settings. This is a system in crisis and politicians need to stop burying their heads in the sand.

To be clear Prime Minister, we have not reached an NHS pay settlement for nursing - our members rejected the government's offer and remain in dispute. We expect whoever forms the next government to start direct negotiations on nursing pay during the summer. #ITVdebate #GE2024

Health and care services are crying out for more nurses but students are struggling to find jobs when they graduate. Slowing down recruitment to meet arbitrary government budget targets is not how you deliver for patients. Students must have a job guarantee on graduation.
