Okay. I’m excited by this one. We are recruiting for a trainee in policy and research here The King's Fund. Someone who is working in health and care on the front line but has thought - I want to shift my career to policy and research but I don’t know how.

More investment in the NHS shouldn't be just about capacity to DO more- to increase the busyness. We need to invest in freeing up space for reflection & listening. We need to recognise this space really matters- both for safe, quality care, & also for the wellbeing of NHS people.

Today is the 75th anniversary of the NHS.Health and Care Women Leaders Network is asking us to celebrate remarkable women who are the backbone of the NHS. I nominate my sister Mrs B; an intensive care nurse now in public health. She is caring, brave & continues to keep ppl safe #NHS75Women

Find out why I believe rapid insight is the missing piece in how we lead large scale change, and how we can generate insights in ways that increase the speed at which communities learn together 👇 If we have better insights, we have better decisions, and therefore better health.

We each have insights every day, but what does it mean to have an insight? And why is it important to keep expanding our field of view?In this second blog, I draw the answer - quite literally. Which metaphor resonates the most with you and why? #RapidInsight
