Here's the million dollar question: More affluent schools get more "gain time" than less affluent (caused by significantly earlier study leave). How is that fair? Why should teachers in less affluent schools have less time for curriculum and other long term planning? TUNE IN

The more we create excuses for kids not going to school the more we fail them. This is not how adult life works. If we don’t go to work we lose our jobs. More needs to be done to build resilience. We seem societally to have lost that in some quarters.
