Congratulations to everyone involved - so many years to get to #JWSTLaunch and what a launch it's been! The number of people it takes to get this done is mind-boggling. Whole careers have been spent on it. So much joy 🥰

Exactly one year from today at 3:22pm Kingston time there will be a total solar eclipse. The Moon will fully block our view of the Sun and we will have a full 3 minutes of darkness! #Eclipse2024

On April 8th, 2024, the first total solar eclipse in almost 700 years will pass through Kingston! A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon lies perfectly between the Earth and Sun, completely blocking the Sun's light. In Kingston, this blockage will last 3 minutes and 4 seconds!#ygk
