Schools reeling from today's £400 million broken promise on school funding:

IFS says school budgets to be hit again to fund pay rises "Schools will still need to find savings totalling about 1% of their budgets to afford these rises, even after additional grant funding from government."

She doesn’t spell out what she means by “it”. Because she refers to an unfunded pay rise for teachers - creating a £400m shortfall - which will mean school cuts and redundancies. So yes, Labour have done it again.

What does this mean? Well, Level 7 is Masters Degree Level apprenticeships One of the biggest users of them is the NHS to train nurses to become specialists (District nurses, specialist community public health nurses, advanced forensic practitioner (custody or sexual offence)

Sophie is spot on. Smartphones in schools are so harmful to children’s health and education - the evidence is overwhelming. If Labour want to do something about children’s mental health, they’d back our ban. Instead, they’ve dismissed it as an ‘unnecessary gimmick.’
