I'm extremely proud of my IBD fellow/ consultant (Dr De Gregorio - convincing him to get on twitter) who is doing great work. His first publication was in CGH and will form a body of work regarding fistulising Crohn's disease - an area of unmet need still for # IBD patients.

#IUS gold: ileal #Crohns pt well on IFX. Flu sx for 2/7 (-covid) & CRP 270. Improved for day then diarrhoea and abdominal pain. POC IUS by expert @RoseVau76322963 found NEW severe sigmoid dx with bwt 9mm, hyperaemia and fat hypertrophy. Now to flex sig and stool mcs to get dx!
