Let's talk Mayoral race! I’ve already endorsed Zellnor Myrie. I know his integrity and anti-corruption guts, I love his vision on housing and I believe he'll move mountains to get childcare. His housing history in the Senate is the prelude--the toughest rent laws in a generation.

“The disgraced former governor skipped out on another chance to answer tough questions, this time at a debate in which his June primary opponents touched on how they’d address the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal migrants.” nypost.com/2025/04/16/us-…

Cuomo has only answered press questions 5 times in 55 days. That's even less than Eric Adams. New Yorkers don’t hide — and neither should anyone running for Mayor.

🧵 Just 100 days in and Trump has already gone to war on reproductive freedom — but with everything going on, those attacks may have fallen under your radar. From abortion to birth control rollbacks, here’s how he’s attacking your rights, and what it means for all of us.👇

At this point, Cuomo has refused to disclose his... 1. Taxes 2. Consulting clients 3. Stocks 4. Campaign bundlers (until he was caught) It's shady, and New Yorkers do not want to go through Eric Adams all over again.

NEW: Cuomo's "message for voters" (a red box in all but color) may have violated NYC camp finance rules prohibiting candidates from coordinating political strategy w/super PAC. Team Cuomo says nothing amiss. Millions of $ in matching funds in the balance nytimes.com/2025/05/05/nyr…

“Mr. Cuomo’s opponents have argued that he deserves blame for making the mental health system worse by overseeing a reduction in psychiatric beds as governor. From 2011 to 2021, the number of beds in state psychiatric hospitals in New York City fell by 28 percent.”

Another interesting tidbit here from ⁦Eric Lach⁩: “When he talks to Trump, he calls him ‘boss,’ ” the former Cuomo aide said. “I’ve never heard him call anyone else ‘boss.’ newyorker.com/magazine/2025/…

It's true this doesn't make Cuomo look confident. It's also just shady. At every step of his career and this campaign, Cuomo has worked the system in shady ways at New Yorkers' expense. Voters just lived through Eric Adams. They don't want that mess again.
