I joined Councilmember Raul Campillo, Ben Lenail, and Laurie Yoler to announce that $1.5 million in this year’s #CABudget will help build a Bridge For Max at Mission Trails. This funding will keep Max’s memory alive and make the park safer for all.

After recent rains, the #SanDiegoRiverCrossing where Max drowned on Jan 29 is under 3 ft of water. The City Attorney has installed signs that prohibit crossing. We are working diligently so bridge efforts may continue. We are committed to completing the bridge in ‘23. #climbon
