Today is a very special day UCC Ireland ! The university was formally opened on 7 November 1849 by the first president, Robert Kane. Queen's College Cork initially opened with 23 professors & 115 enrolled students. The 3 founding faculties of the new college were Medicine, Arts & Law.
In October, we hosted Professor David Hodson KC OBE and solicitor Ann Hodson UCC School of Law as part of UCC’s LLM in ADR. We were very honoured to have David and Ann joining us. David and Ann are global leaders in international family law and international family dispute resolution.
