The Marion County Fire Chief’s association provided lunch for the Lawrence dispatchers yesterday. They provided lunch to all the Marion County dispatchers as part of Telecommunicators week. Thank you for the job you do everyday. We appreciate you.

Medic 37 and Medic 40 took part in the Live Longer in Lawrence Health Fair at Lawrence Community Park today. We enjoyed visiting with everyone that stopped by to see the ambulances and meet the crews.

Today FF Damun Thomas reached the end of his probationary year. He received his regular helmet shield from Fire Chief Wallace and Battalion Chief Griffin. Congratulations FF Thomas.

We remember Firefighter Jeff Holt who died in the line of duty seven years ago today. Jeff tragically passed away shortly after finishing his work performance evaluation. Jeff served the City of Lawrence for 20 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lindi and Jeff’s family.
