This is about democratic accountability. Lewisham can't sit back and wait for 6 months without a Mayor.

Correction… now time for a mayoral election in Lewisham so residents get a mayor fighting for them, not a community 120 miles away. A mayor is a full time role with a full time salary.

But that could be over a year away! Lewisham deserves representation now. With a population of 300,000 people - a full-time Mayor is needed, not one who is campaigning for his next job in Bristol.

Not good enough. Lewisham residents shouldn’t have to wait until a date some time in the future to get the full time representation they are paying £80k per year for. He needs to resign, now.
