Broke my five month Twitter silence to tell you about John Kennedy’s album playback with gang of youths this Friday on Radio X so the least you can do is listen to it.

I was hugely honoured to be asked to join this incredible group of people as a Mercury Prize judge this year. The Mercury is something I've always dreamed of being a part of and I can’t wait to be able to share this year's shortlist of exceptional albums. Launch day is tomorrow!
