If you review academic papers, remember that many of the authors are likely going to be students and postdocs, and the tone of your review sends a big message (good or bad) about the culture of your research community.

I'm having a great time in Valencia - it was a national holiday yesterday so I explored the Museo De Les Ciencias. Thanks to the OMIG and National Biofilms Innovation Centre (NBIC) travel grant for the opportunity to come here and spend time at GVA Fisabio to learn metatranscriptomic analysis!
