Reforms appear to be a cosmetic exercise. The major issues in policing include senior officers corruption, incompetence & blame-avoidance by forces when things go wrong. Add to that the aggressive swagger of the modern Plod & you’ve a service with it’s reputation in the 💩

Telling that they need to offer such tips on how to spot officer misconduct. It must be occurring more than we suspect. Why are they relying on the public being able to spot and report this and not relying on other members of #WestYorkshirePolice ?

A reminder that if visited by police about a "hate crime" & you are invited to attend an interview, it has 2 purposes, to provide opportunity for you to explain away whatever it may be & a fishing expedition by police in search of evidence. If they had it, you would be arrested.

Here we go again! If allegations in 1. seen below amount to an offence then most of #WestYorkshirePolice would be shown the door. Or are they subtly suggesting this is another local Plod caught out using his job as a dating agency & acting inappropriately towards women?

🇬🇧 Meanwhile in Manchester, UK Police prevent certain shoppers from entering Arndale Shopping Centre. This man objects & is subsequently arrested. WTAF why is this happening?

Meanwhile in Bradford two inept #WestYorkshirePolice officers who can’t control or de-escalate a situation end up paying a heavy price.

And another one! This time it’s #WestYorkshirePolice former officer PC Jason Clay. Caught out misusing his position for an improper sexual purpose. And he also sounds like a complete cad. Officers from this force have a problem behaving appropriately around women.

We all remember the response of #WestYorkshirePolice during the #HarehillsRiots : * They started it all by heavy-handed policing * Then ran away when things got a bit rough * Ran away again when things got a bit rougher That’s right isn’t it Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire ?
